Love
1 Our love is not like a delicate pastel petal.. It draws its strength from our bonded souls. Like the heart in this dark-blooded flower We light the embers in each others coals.
2 The road that led to our spirits' union has been long and paved with tears. Look at the beauty of this aged flower and see the promise of our coming years.

Birthday
1 As another year shrivels and dies, I marvel at the lines in your face. Time has made you funny and wise; This dark bud cheers you on in the race.
2 I know that you feel that the best years have passed, That the oats you once sowed have been reaped. But look at this flower, in its beauty so vast, And know that age only makes you more sweet.

Anniversary
1 As another year passes and we two are still one, My incredible luck stares me in the face. I give you this flower as a token of our strength That thrives on souls that embrace. 2 You don't care for wine, candy's not in the plan, Buying a gift for you is always a pain. This just seemed like a perfect choice this year: Because, like us, it is rare and grand!

Break Up
1 Over and over, I took you back, and gave you another chance. I believed it when you held my face in your hands And said, "We will lead each other in this life-long dance."

But your words proved as empty as your silent heart, My heart keeps repeating "good-bye." So instead of taking another brave stance, Like these roses, we should just let it die.

2 Hurtful words, a hard-slammed door, another make-up session. I'm tired, I'm bored, and I need some space: Don't you feel like we're both in regression?

Let's cut our losses, get out while we can, Before the damage gets too bad to repair. Haven't we both seen too much darkness in here? Grab these flowers and challenge the dare.

Final Divorce
1 Before the wedding vows' echo had drifted away You were set on destroying my life. Take these dead flowers, my miserable ex, I wish you nothing but misery and strife. 2 You ranted, you raved, you cried like a child. I changed my life to try and meet your "needs." Now you can take these dark roses and, frankly, my dear, I hope you suffer miserably for your dastardly deeds.
